The ASEAN Foundation Model ASEAN Meeting (AFMAM) aims to raise ASEAN awareness and promote greater ownership of the ASEAN Community amongst the young people in the region.

AFMAM enables the youths to understand ASEAN diplomacy and how decision makers of the ASEAN Member States address regional issues by involving them in authentic simulation exercises. It also promotes regional friendship and develops skills in negotiation, public speaking, and consensus building.
